Autism on the rise

Autism effects many. Working in the community as a Case Manager it helped me realize that Autism is on the rise but resources are limited. I have found the best way to find resources is by sharing stories with others. Use this forum to share your stories and help others find resources. I will start by saying, if you do not know where to begin and your child has been recently diagnosed with Autism start by finding you local county Mental Health/Mental Retardation office and request a caseworker to help you find services and funding to aid your child. Just know sometimes it takes a lot of pushing so don't give up.
